The mountains have my heart, but the ocean owns my soul. I started life as a small-town beach girl, but I’ve grown into the athlete, writer, and entrepreneur I am today because of my experiences as a multiracial, multilingual women pursuing alpine adventure around the world. Originally from Playa del Rey, California, I have traveled through Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Andorra, Canada, and the USA building my craft as a mountaineer, climber, and backcountry snowboarder since 2014 (when I graduated from corporate life with a one-way ticket to South America).

As an adventurer and traveler, I share stories that explore how identity and heritage can be understood through new experiences, unexpected moments, and overcoming adversity. In my essays and creative writing, I call readers in to explore what adventure means to them—and to find empowerment in the practice of personal mastery, every day. In my gear reviews, trip reports, essays, and multi-source reportage, I create content with a Shop Local, community-driven approach that elevates untold stories.
